We also got the chance to make smoothies, try playground games, plant a sunflower and listen to an Eco story called 'The Lumberjack's Beard' read by James from P5. 

Eco Day- Zoo Lab

During Eco Day we got a visit from the amazing Zoo Lab. We got the chance to see a baby tortoise, a couple of millipedes, a tarantula and a lizard.

If we wanted to we could touch them, hold them or just look at them. 

We also found out about how snakes, lizards and spiders help the environment and how millipedes love to recycle! 

Our farming trip was super we saw animals and a museum 😀

Farm to Fork, Tesco visit.

On Tuesday P4 visited Tesco in Linwood where we took part in a Farm to Fork workshop led by Jennifer and Theresa. We had a great morning looking at different produce, checking the sugar content in popular cereals and even going behind the scenes! The morning was rounded off by us making fruit kebabs and drinking water flavoured by different citrus fruits. The highlight was venturing into the giant freezer where frozen chips and vegetables are kept at minus 20 degrees, it was freezing!!!

They're Growing!

The crocus that Jude in p4 made is finally growing so p4 are excited for more!

Four of the mystery bulbs are now growing only one more to grow.
